Coconut strawberry smoothie is a healthy fruit smoothie with skimmed milk and yoghurt. This is a perfect smoothie after working out.

For this coconut strawberry smoothie you will need a real coconut because we use the fresh coconut milk or also referred to as coconut water. Fresh coconut juice is very healthy and fat free compared to the canned coconut milk from the supermarket.

Furthermore the strawberries I used were frozen. In the top of coconut you will spot three eyes. Use a head scewdriver and push through the softest eye. Drain the fresh coconut through the hole by holding the coconut upside down.
  • ½ coconut in pieces
  • 1 cup strawberries (150 gram)
  • ½ cup fresh coconut juice from one coconut (120 ml)
  • 1 cup fat free yogurt (240 ml)
  1. Chop the coconut in small pieces and toss them with the rest of the ingredients in the blender.
  2. Mix for about 30 seconds till the drink is smooth.
