The pomegranate strawberry smoothie with chia seeds gives you all the necessary nutritions that you need. Pomegranate and chia seeds are superfoods and also very delicous!

I love those superfoods! In this pomegranate strawberry smoothie the superfoods chia seeds and pomegranate arils are bundling together.

Pomegranate holds all the necessary vitamin C and chia seeds all the necessary minerals like copper, Omega-3 fatty acids and calcium.

Chia seeds were first cultivated by the Aztec and most of the chia seeds now come from Mexico, Argentina and Bolivia. They are used to make nutritious drinks, like this smoothie.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup pomegranate arils (150 gram)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries (150 gram)
  • ¾ cup skimmed milk (180 ml)
  • 1 cup fat free yogurt (240 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Instructions
  1. Cut the pomegranate in two pieces at the equator. Take a half and squeeze above a bowl, then knock with a wooden spoon and the arils will fall in the bowl. If you add water to the bowl the bits of membrace will start floating loose of the arils.
  2. Add the pomegranate arils together with the other ingredients in your blender and blend till thick and smooth.
