Chia seed is a superfood providing the necessary dietary fiber. Vegan diets refrain from any animal consuming products. This means that you do not eat meat, but also no animal derived products as eggs, milk and other dairy products. It is proven to be a really healthy diet that reduces the risk of heart diseases. Important to know for vegans is that you will need to take vitamin B12 supplement.

Soy milk original is made of natural plants, mainly soybeans and is a perfect product for vegans. You can drink soy milk in the coffee, with your cereal or just drink it plain. Because of the subtle taste it is also a nice basis for smoothies. My natural soy milk contains added vitamin B12 supplement.
Ingredients
  • 4 Kiwis
  • 1 cup Frozen raspberries
  • ¾ cup orange juice
  • 1 cup Soy milk
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
Instructions
  1. Peel and chop the kiwis. Toss all the ingrdients in the blender and blend till smooth in about 40 seconds.
  2. Optional is to produce your own fresh orange juice. You will need about 5 oranges for ¾ cup orange juice.

Hello green smoothie lovers! This perfect green smoothie bundles the best superfood ingredients raw kale and chia seeds.

The sweet taste of this green smoothie comes from the kiwis and apple juice. I just love this green smoothie with its perfect sweet taste and all the right nutritions like copper, iron and many vitamins.

For a less sweeter kale avocado smoothie you could replace the apple juice with skimmed milk or fat free yogurt.

Kale is pretty hot in the United States at the moment and considered as a "Superfood". Not surprisingly, because they contain so many good nutritions.

Did you know that kale or also known as borecole comes from the typical Dutch dish "Boerenkool"? In the Netherlands they are eating this kale stew already for many decades mainly in winter and autumn.
Ingredients
  • 1½ cups raw kale (100 gram)
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 kiwis
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1½ cup apple juice (360 ml)
  • 6 ice cubes

  1. Peel and chop the avocado and kiwis.Toss the pieces in your blender with all the other ingredients and blend till smooth.
